Comval PDC approves Metro Davao Master Plan
Compostela Valley Province — The Metro Davao Master Plan was initiated by the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) and Palafox Associate during the Provincial Development Council (PDC) Meeting led by PDC Chair Gov. Jayvee Tyron Uy along with Mayor Antonio Ay-eng Libalan in Laak and Mayor Reynaldo Dayanghirang in Mabini.
Governor Uy mentioned his content that Comval Province especially the municipality of Maco is belonging to the Metro Davao Development Corridors to be able to reach the province the unique stretch of the most rapid growth in the coming days.
The PDC Meeting took place on March 27, 2019, at the Governor’s Conference Room in the capital and was attended by Assistant Provincial Administrator Placido Alcomendras Jr., PPDO Chief Romeo Celeste, Assistant PPDO Chief Ray Pajarito MPDCs in 11 municipalities most often represent them.
After the Governor’s message, MinDA and the Palafox Associate were briefed on the key elements of the Metro Davao Master Plan, some of which were part of the Regional Development Model, the Urban Development Extension, the Recommended Road Right of Way, the Conceptual Transportation Network, additional Circumferential Roads in Metro Davao Area, and Inter Modal Stations.
They are pleased to announce the Proposed Metro Davao Expressway, Potential Airports, Identified PPA Ports that include the Maco, West Metropolitan Core, Strategic Gateway Infrastructure, the Davao Gulf Bridge, Potential Airport in Tagum City, Industrial Port in Maco, Metro Davao Green Cities Plan, Pedestrian Networks, Metro Web Map Metro, and so on.
The great leaders of the Minda and Palafox Associates are Archbishop Tomas Carumba, Architect Karla Cereño, Marlo Sullano, and Katherine Zenith Geldore, who immediately approached the resolution to assume a unanimous vote of all PDC Members who attended the event. (Sean Seismundo, IDS Comval)
