Comval celebrates Blood Donor’s month through blood letting
Compostela Valley Provincial capitol employees donated blood during the blood letting program conducted by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) in the Capitol lobby, Cabidianan, Nabunturan, Comval on July 9, 2018.
Ika-duha, naay health benefits nga makuha atong lawas. Ug karon nasanayan na gyud nako na magpakuha og dugo kada naay blood letting na mahitabo,” said George Duran, one of the blood donors.
The said activity is in line with the National Blood Donor’s month with the theme, “Be there for someone else. Give blood. Share Life.”
Every year, Comval conducts series of blood letting activities in the different area in the province. As a result, Comval has been a consistent recipient of National Sandugo Award since 2009.
The Department of Health (DOH) conferred the National Sandugo Award to those Local Chief Executives who deliver extra excellent performance in the implementation of the National Voluntary Blood Services Program in their respective areas of responsibility.
(Sheldane Mahinay // ID Comval)
