Comval receives PRIME-HRM Bronze Award from Civil Service Commission
Compostela Valley Province – The Provincial Local Government Unit of Compostela Valley achieved the Bronze award for Level 2 of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Award from the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
The award was formally received by Provincial Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy during the Awarding Ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) the capital held the Awarding Ceremony on July 24, 2019.
Along with Governor Uy who received the award were PHRMDO Chief Lara Zaphire Kristy N. Bermejo and municipal mayors Mayor Roberto Yugo of Pantukan, Mayor Ramil Gentugaya of Monkayo, and Mayor Alvira Rimando of Maco, who also received awards from the CSC.
Civil Service Commission issued Resolution No. 1801456 on December 4, 2019, by which it was formally announced that based on the results of the “CSC Onsite Assessment” that the employees of the provincial capitol passed the PRIME HRM Level 2 through the systems, practices, and competencies practiced within the four core HR systems, which includes recruitment, selection and placement, performance management, and learning and development.
PHRMDO Chief Bermejo mentioned that success of achieving the PRIME-HRM award into its Level 2 Accreditation, the appointments of employees and workers are carefully reviewed and signed by the appointing authorities Gov. Jayvee Tyron Uy and Vice Gov. Maricar Zamora to guarantee that the applicants are recognized as compliant with the laws followed by all the government units.
The PRIME-HRM award is considered a milestone for the provincial government unit as it helps improve the basis of both the PHRMDO for their maintenance of employee records and handling of Human Resource programs and seminars along with the employees and future applicants for their amenability and eligibility to work for the government. #YEStoDavaoDeOro (Sean Seismundo, ID Comval)
