The Opening of Summer Camp in Huaqiao University

Comval Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy graced the opening of Summer Camp in Huaqiao University today June 13, 2019. Summer Camp is an annual student exchange program sponsored by Overseas China Organization and Huaqiao University. This year, Comval has been given 5 slots and Gov uy allotted for its outstanding student – volunteers particularly to its Compostela Valley Scholarship Program (CVSP) scholars. We are the only Local Government Unit (LGU) given that opportunity in Davao region.

This is the only year that Davao Region independently organized its own summer camp with 43 delegates. Previously, summer camp to huaqiao university is organized by Manila-based schools with limited slots for Davao Region. (Christine Dompor/PAO-TSS Comval)
