Comval to construct Hall of Justice building

Davao De Oro Province – The province announces the construction of the Hall of Justice at the provincial capitol, in a statement by Provincial Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy, during the Ground-Breaking Ceremony at the 12th Bulawan Festival and 21st Founding Anniversary of the province.

The ceremony was held at the provincial capitol on March 6, 2019, as part of the “Bulawanong Kinaiyahan ug Kalingawan” event for the festival, headed by Governor Uy, Congressman Atty. Ruwell Peter Gonzaga, Congresswoman Maricar Zamora, and SP members headed by Vice Gov. Manuel “Way Kurat” Zamora and Senior Board Member Arturo “Chiongkee” Uy.

Two other buildings were also announced in plan for construction, namely the Local Governance Resource Center Building and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Building, to be constructed within the Comval Capitol Compound Phase 2, along with the planting of 2,000 foxtail palms within Barangays Magsaysay to San Roque, Nabunturan.

The ceremony was followed by the “Bulawanong Pasundayag” (Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan) held at the capitol mega tent, Mindanao Trade Shows and Exhibits Competition, Golden Derby, and “Baranggayanihan para sa Kinaiyahan”, which highlights the “Sayaw Kinaiyahan” and the awarding of the “Seal of Good Local Governance” for barangays.

Along with Governor Uy, DILG Region XI Director Alex Roldan, DILG PD Noel Duarte, Cong. Maricar Zamora, Cong. Atty. Ruwell Peter Gonzaga, and Liga ng Barangay Provincial Federation President BM Raul Timogtimog also handed the awards for the barangay awardees, with BM Timogtimog giving the welcome address for the event.
