Comval receives another green banner award for 2018

Davao De Oro Province—The provincial health office (PHO) through the provincial nutrition council (PNC) of the provincial government of Davao De Oro under Governor Jayvee Tyron L. Uy receives the “Green Banner Award” of the Department of Health (DOH) by the National Nutrition Council XI for having the lowest malnutrition prevalence rate of 2.9% for the whole Davao Region.

The awarding ceremony was held at the Grand Regal Hotel in Davao City on November 2018 through the Nutrition Program Region XI Coordinator Dr. Ma. Teresa L. Ungson.

The award was received by Dr. Antonio P. Ybiernas, Jr. together with the PNC coordinators and personnel.

It can be recalled that in the year 2016 the province also received the same award for attaining the 3.6% Malnutrition Prevalence Rating.

The re-enactment of award was done on January 7, 2019 during the 1st employees Monday convocation program led by Dr. Ybiernas and was received by Governor Uy, Vice- Governor Manuel E. Zamora and the provincial officials. (Rey Antibo, ID Comval)
